Siobhan

Professional Experience

I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist accredited with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP). In addition to this I am also a registered Mental Health Nurse governed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). I have 8 years’ experience, working in a variety of mental health/therapy settings to include: The Prison Service, Adult Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Detox/Recovery and NHS IAPT services.

I have worked with both Male and Female Adults in a variety of settings and feel able to adjust my language, approach and delivery of therapy accordingly, to suit all needs.

I feel that I am an empathic, genuine person, with the skills and knowledge available to empower people to both understand their problem/s and help themselves reach their desired goals in therapy. Furthermore, I feel that I have a very personal, informal yet structured approach to delivering therapy and quite enjoy bringing humour into the therapy room where appropriate.
